Since having Ora and the Gem Star published, reality has sunk in as to the incredibly tough job WE have ahead to share this story. While my team and I head out there to promote Ora, I want to keep writing...both on Ora's continual adventures but also on my thoughts and oberservances of today's world from a literary perspective. As an avid reader, I deeply admire the talented authors who have wonderfully written classics and preserved their tales for years to come. At my daughter's suggestion, I am going to use this space to keep writing in the interim of Ora's next release; the subject of this blog: Verisimilitude. Per Wikipedia, Verisimilitude in its literary context is defined as the fact or quality of being verisimilar, the appearance of being true or real; likeness or resemblance of the truth, reality or a fact's probability. Verisimilitude comes from Latin verum meaning truth and similis meaning similar. Let's chat literary truths, let's honor authors and their ability to create word structures that deeply strike a cord within each of us with universal passions, and let's always keep reading and writing the stories that define us as humans. Message me, throw some new ideas my way, and let me know your thoughts! Thanks, Jack
